Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:137.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/137.0

Steps to reproduce:

I'm on Linux Fedora 41 (Workstation Edition) and use a NVIDIA gpu with the drivers. My windows manager is Wayland. I use two monitors for my set up. My main monitor is a 1080p display and my second monitor is a 4k display. The crash only happens when I set my scale of my 1080p monitor to 200% and I try dragging a tab from one monitor to the other.

  1. Use two monitors, one is a 1080p monitor, and the other is a 4k monitor
  2. Set the scale of the 1080p monitor to 200%
  3. Open Firefox (Doesn't matter which monitor you open Firefox in)
  4. Set Firefox to fullscreen
  5. Drag the tab from one monitor to the other
  6. Firefox crashes

Actual results:

When I try dragging a tab from one monitor to my other monitor, Firefox crashes.

Stacktrack: https://crash-stats.mozilla.org/report/index/3a1d79a0-435d-4fd7-9172-504d20250414

Expected results:

I expected Firefox to just move the tab from the initial monitor to the other monitor without crashing.
