User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:128.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/128.0
Steps to reproduce:
Pressed ^H, looked at history, pressed ^H again
Actual results:
The history menu? Thing? was left behind, albeit smaller.

Expected results:
Should've gone away like it's always done.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Given the reference to the "albeit smaller", I believe this is about the new sidebar which leaves the sidebar stub open, so moving across to that component.

наб, can you please add a screen recording of the issue? as I am not able to reproduce it. Thank you.
In the following recording, I first do ^H/^H on an older firefox (and it disappears fully), then on nightly (and it doesn't).

Right, so after enabling vertical sidebar and disabling it, the small sidebar from left is not hidden anymore using Ctrl+H. Marking issue as new as I am able to reproduce it on Win11x64 using FF build 144.0a1(20250910212829).
