Do you see any error in the browser console when you try to delete them (Tools > Browser Tools > Browser Console, or menu in the top right corner (More Tools > Browser Console)?
P.S. Not sure if this belongs to Settings or Toolkit::Data Sanitization.

the Browser console does not show anything when trying to delete the cookie.
I have recorded a quick video showing the behaviour and the browser console: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TPgW3tMfvI

From what I can tell, about:preferences is talking to the cookie service correctly to delete this cookie, so the issue might be at a deeper level. Moving to Networking: Cookies for now.
Reproduced with:
- simple html page served from local python server
python3 -m http.server --bind :: - Visited
http://[::1]:8000/with browser - set cookie manually via
document.cookie
Note that the issue did not occur with the same server, but when browser accessed page via localhost.
I'll investigate.

Reproduced the issue described in comment 0 and comment 5 using an old Nightly build from 2025-04-23. Verified that using latest Nightly 141.0a1 and Firefox 140.0b1 across platforms (Windows 11, macOS 13 and Ubuntu 22.04) the cookies are successfully manually deleted for both localhost and [::1]
