1962858 - Firefox Suggest briefly pops up when searching

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:137.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/137.0

Steps to reproduce:

Open Firefox (from widget or app)
Go to URL Bar (Mine is set to bottom, haven't tried it at top)
Start Typing

Actual results:

Firefox suggest menu pops up with previously viewed pages (not pertaining or containing the same letters as the current search), bookmarks, and already open tabs for a split second and then search suggestions pop up

Expected results:

Search suggestions pop up without interruption, Firefox Suggest should be below search suggestions and never pop up without user's input

(there should also be an option to turn off firefox suggest if we don't want it

Hi April,

Can you share what options are enabled in application settings -> Search screen?
And then also while the search suggestions are shown swipe down on them to have the keyboard closed to see what suggestions are shown?
Firefox Suggest also includes results from other opened tabs, something that currently can't be disabled. Maybe this is what's happening here?

Would be great if you could provide screenshots or a screen recording showcasing the above.
