Summary: people who use many tabs are likely to be accustomed to using Tab Search (% ) in the Firefox search bar to locate tabs. They are also likely to adopt tab groups. Today, when you search using the Tab Search (% ) groups that match your query do not appear, only tabs do. People will most likely expect or appreciate being able to find a group that matches in Tab Search, without having to switch to regular Search.

Steps to Reproduce:
Open Firefox with Tab Groups and Scotch Bonnet enabled
Create a group named "Test Group"
Navigate to Tab Search ( % )
Perform a query on the [test group] name
Actual Result:
See that the group name does not appear as a matching result in Tab Search
Expected Result:
The group name should appear as a matching result in Tab Search
Additional Information:
Software Version: macOS Firefox Nightly 140.0a1 (2025-04-30) (aarch64)
