To report content and view in Glean:

In about:config, enable the following prefs to true:

browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.telemetry
browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.telemetry.ut.events
browser.newtabpage.ping.enabled
browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.telemetry.privatePing.enabled
browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.discoverystream.sections.enabled

Steps:

• Open about:glean
• Go to Manual Testing
• Write a memorable debug tag
• Hit Apply settings and submit ping
• Select newtab-content from the ping list
• Open the ping debug site in another window (that you're logged into)
• Open a new tab
• Click on a story's context menu and select Report this content
• Select any reason and hit submit
• Go back to the about:glean window and hit Apply settings and submit ping again
• Go to the debug site
• You should now see a new newtab-content ping. Select it
• You should be able to find the report_content_open and report_content_submit metrics in there with the story you just reported
