I suspect this is because of the fact that this page has some animating gif's.
However it works just fine in IE.

This is a very big problem because my machine almost becomes unresponsive when
this page is active. 

I filed a new bug because the other bug reports did not seem to be related to
the fact that it's caused due to animating gif's.

It'll be great if 1.3 fixes this problem, I'm beginning to use Mozilla
everywhere as my default browser, and would hate to go to a different one just
because of this problem.
