The user grant flow associated with tab hiding functionality is non-standard. The current implementation does not allow developers to check whether or not the user has permitted the extension to hide tabs via the "Access your hidden tabs" prompt. As a result, this prompt may appear at unexpected times or in unexpected ways, such as rendering underneath the extension's popup (popunder.png).

Consider changing this behavior to better align with other extension APIs.

The popup panel should close when the doorhanger appears.
