Suggestions:

1) Wipe and reinstall Mozilla. Your chrome directory, history, or user prefs may
be corrupted.
2) Shut down other programs and then try running Mozilla with a flash page. I
know that AIM causes problems for me in Mozilla; perhaps it's application
interference?
3) Reinstall flash (if you haven't already). Make sure to wipe Flash from your
system completely before you reinstall; it may be that some registry keys have
been corrupted.

Works for me in Moz 1.2.1, so if this problem isn't machine-specific it's a
regression.

Can confirm bug with mozilla 1.3b gtk2-xft redhat8.0  compiled with gcc3.2 and
gcc 2.96 but also with any non xft version down to 1.2.1 also on Suse 8.1 Linux.
Works for me with flash 5

The 'blocking1.3'-flag can be set to '+' by Mozillastaff _only_. You can set it
to '?' if you wish.

Could this be a regression in r79? If this is a regression in Mozilla, does
going back a week or two help narrow it down?

the flash plugin version is 6.0r79

Reporter: There is something in your configuration that is causing the crash.
Please try to narrow down the cause.

I remove mozilla, then remove ~/.mozilla
install mozilla 1.3rc, install flash plugin r79
start mozilla and go www.donews.com or www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about
then it crashes
