make a pass and cleanup old platform names and add new platform names

Details
new platforms (like macosx1500) need a pretty name.
old platforms could you some love to standardize on some confusing names.

consider removing "webrender" from all the platform names in general, not just new platform names.

a lot of additional cleanup, a lot of words removed that were unnecessary. Probably more to be done, but this pass is long overdue.
