the last word in the query is deleted

Expected results:

This is something to do with the Google site, not the address bar.

Summary: Last word disappears when pressing spacebar after reentering searchbar and reappears over previous word when pressing backspace. → Last word disappears when pressing spacebar after reentering Google in-page searchbar and reappears over previous word when pressing backspace.

This can be reproduced on many websites, e.g. DuckDuckGo has the same problem and I'm sure I've seen it in many other search inputs.

Notably this only happens with the GBoard. Installing an alternative keyboard solves the issue.
