Win10 EoS will likely have some level of impact on Fx churn as users migrate to new devices in order to upgrade to Win11. Because of this, we want to encourage more users to sign up for Mozilla Accounts to make data migration much easier. As an incentive for signing up for an Account, we will offer users 3 months of free VPN by way of a special link that will credit their Account (credit card info will be required).

This experiment will be set up so that we can track trends of these new Accounts and VPN users, in addition to mitigating potential churn. The outcomes here could potentially inform the foundation for an investigation on whether or not we should eventually offer free VPN to all Fx users.
