Localization moved to git, your current dictionary is still there

This is just updating the dictionary to the latest version (from 2.7 to 2.9).

The spell check needs this add-on installed to check Danish spelling.

What makes you say that? The dictionary will be included in Danish builds (as it is now, just the newer version).

I just installed Firefox Nightly in Danish and the Danish spellchecker in Danish is there and working without any addon, so we are good! :)

I had to install the add-on to make the spellcheck work in Firefox 138.0.4 (64-bit) and Thunderbird 128.10.1esr (64-bit). It used to work out of the box, but it disappeared recently.
Linux Mint 22.1. (might be the problem).

If you're using the build coming from the distro, that's always an en-US build with a language pack on top, never a fully localized build. So, it's expected that it will miss the localized dictionary.

PR was merged in the meatime.
