version: 128.11.0esr (64-bit)
running on: Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS
I am always unable to figure out how to create a calendar and I have figured something out. It is just in the wrong place.
In order to create a calendar, I need to go to the hamburger menu, select "New Account" and then, in there, one sees "Calendar".
But I do not want to create an account. I want to create a Calendar. Why is this under "New Account"? It could be, for example, in the hamburger menu, under ... "Create". Wow. Would that not be simple?
I may be somewhat confused. In several pieces of the documentation, I have seen references to "the Calendar tab" or the "the list of Calendars". Do these appear in the Ubuntu version of the UI? Where are they? It is not clear. I will include a screenshot of my interface. If there is something that I click on this interface to get a list of calendars, can you point to it in a picture?
The list of calendars should be very easily accessible. For example, I have 5 calendars. These are not as useful as they could be because I want to do some "click and select" operation to switch the calendar to only show events from one calendar. How can I do this? Not seeing anywhere a list of the calendars, I cannot tell how to temporarily turn calendars on and off.

You apparently got Calendar Pane turned off for some reason.
Enable it again through the main menu View | Calendar | Calendar Pane

Tried to reproduce this issue with 141.0a1(20250616094944), 140.0b3(20250616211826) and 139.0.2(20250606205843) using , Ubuntu 24 and Ubuntu 25 but did not manage to encounter it.

Well, under the Tools menu, I see: "Toolbars", "Layout" and "Folders". So what can I do now?
I looked in the Settings, particularly the Calendar settings, for something like "display calendar pane" and I cannot see it.
Just FYI, I am running on 128.11.0esr (64-bit) on Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS.

Oh the app menu apparently doesn't have this option.
Hit Alt to show the traditional menu. From that menu, do comment 1.
Interesting. I go to the View menu and I can see the Calendar sub-menu but it is disabled. I asmit that this may be a me issue. On the other hand, the conditions I seem to stumble into may be weird but not incorrect behavior. Not sure.

Just Alt, with the window focused, will reveal the normal menu
Resolved per whiteboard. Feel free to reopen if you still see the issue
