would be weird that this pops only now? we have a stack and debug symbols https://firefox-ci-tc.services.mozilla.com/api/queue/v1/task/aV6bmZyDQjKo41qwk6m_xA/runs/0/artifacts/public/build/firefox_141.0a1_amd64.debug but fix-stack does not want to use them :[

Yes, looks like we're not getting all the formats here (actually the done dmabuf feedback event) so bug 1966639 may be related.
But I'd like to know which dmabuf version is used - can you run with WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 or MOZ_LOG="Dmabuf:5" ?

Actually ti looks like a race at GlobalDMABufFormats* GetGlobalDMABufFormats() where GlobalDMABufFormats() is created/initialized and we may return unfinished object here.

Looks like fatal system misconfiguration to me....and I can't put WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 env variable to the run or get output of debug prints from stderr/stdout.

I can repro on a 25.04 VM running under libvirt/KVM, outside of Snap packaging

I could confirm that locally reverting all patches from bug 1966639 avoid the issue for me on the VM.

Yes, will look at it. It's good we have a reproducer. For some reason we're not getting all events from Wayland server although we get the sync one which is weird - the sync is supposed to ensure we get everything without possible overhead caused by roundtrip.
