:jjaeschke could you consider nominating this for a release note? (Process info)
We could include it in the nightly only release notes.

Release Note Request (optional, but appreciated)
[Why is this notable]: Allow the user to create links with text fragments by adding a context menu entry option "Copy Link to Highlight" if there is a selection. Opening this text fragment link highlights the same text that was selected and scrolls it into view.
[Affects Firefox for Android]: No, desktop-only for now
[Suggested wording]:
[Links (documentation, blog post, etc)]:

Note added to the New section of Nightly Desktop 142 release notes with this wording:
Starting with Firefox 142, Nightly builds support creating URLs using Text Fragments. You can generate such a URL by selecting a snippet of text on a page and choosing Copy Link to Highlight from the context menu.

Removed from the Nightly release notes as it's been included for more than 3 cycles now. Feel free to nominate this for a fresh release note once this feature is ready to ride the trains.
