Preconditions

  • Ensure Firefox is launched with a new profile using /firefox -p.
  • Ensure browser.profiles.enabled is set to true in about:config.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Click on the Hamburger menu -> Profiles -> Manage profiles.
  2. Click the Delete button for the Original profile.
  3. Wait for a new profile to be created and opened, then reach Manage profiles again.
  4. Observe the "Choose a profile when Nightly opens" checkbox.

Expected result

  • The "Choose a profile when Nightly opens" checkbox should be checked for the newly created profile.

Actual result

  • "Choose a profile when Nightly opens" checkbox is not checked on the newly created profile.

Regression range

  • Not a regression, issue reproduces on Firefox 138 as well.
