Steps to reproduce:

This bug report is based on a user's report (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1514524), and I was unable to reproduce it. I hope, however, that you will help in locating the issue.
OS: Windows 10
Device producer: Acer
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:139.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/139.0

  1. Update Firefox (the user also mentioned it happening several times without an update) and wait for it to restart.
  2. Open any website by either clicking a shortcut on the New Tab page or entering a URL in the address bar.

Actual results:

A blank page opens, or only the top half of the website's page is displayed with a "Loading..." message at the bottom of the screen.

Firefox returns to the normal state in about half an hour. Clearing its cache and history may speed up this process.

Expected results:

The website fully loads in a reasonable time.

Thanks Denys:denyshon. Not a lot to go on here or in the SUMO report, but my first question would be whether or not this user is able to reproduce this network access latency in Troubleshoot Mode (Help > Troubleshoot Mode).

Thank you, Mike Conley (:mconley) (:⚙️), that's a good question (and I must have asked it before filling the report). I'll post a comment here if the reporter replies.

It's been about two weeks since last contact, and the SUMO page seems to have gone quiet as well.

Marking this as incomplete for now, but feel free to reopen if we hear back from the reporter.
