Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to https://developer.apple.com/streaming/examples/advanced-stream-hevc.html
  2. Start the video and observe.

Expected behavior

The video plays as expected.

Actual behavior

A visual glitch is present on the video after the first few seconds.

Device information

  • Firefox version: latest Nightly build (141.0a1 from 2025-06-16)
  • Android device model: Google Pixel 7
  • Android OS version: 16

Any additional information?

Reproducible on the latest Beta 140.0b10 and RC 139.0.4 builds as well.
Reproducible on other devices as well (I reproduced on a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with Android 14 and a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL with Android 15 as well).
