1973004 - [Menu redesign 2025] Dead time during the downloading process of recommended extension

Preconditions

There are no extensions installed.

Steps to reproduce

1. Navigate to a website and tap on 3 dots menu.
2. Select 'Extensions' menu item.
3. Tap on '+' button in order to install a recommended extension.

Expected behavior

The '+' icon is replaced by a loading icon to indicate that a process is underway. The menu remains open until the download is complete and the extension's permission screen appears.

Actual behavior

For certain extensions, there is a noticeable delay between the action of adding a recommended extension and the appearance of the Extensions permissions screen.

• Firefox version: Firefox for Android Nightly 141 (2025-06-18)
• Android device model: Samsung S24 Ultra (Android 15) and Xiaomi 12T (Android 12)
