In the aforementioned URL, the "description" field is rendered outsied the
horizontal screen width yet there is no way to screen horizontally to read the
rest of it.

OK, so the problem seems to be that the float pushes the text out of the table
cell (see the red border) and the table cell does not report its overflow area
correctly.... (doesn't take the float into account?)

bernd, do we have a dup for the float making the <td> overflow?  Is this just a
dup of that or dependent?

Boris, table frames do not report the overflow area back. Thats the principal 
bug I emailed you yesterday,which keeps me busy:

The testcase works with Mozilla 1.3.1, but not with 1.4 RC1.
