People

(Reporter: andrea.panzino, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:139.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/139.0

Steps to reproduce:

Normal web search

Actual results:

When searching the web, it often happens that after a while the search bar and the buttons next to it (e.g. navigation, downloads, menu) become unclickable. They can be accessed only by keyboard shortcuts and are solved by restarting the browser

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Search' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Search
Component: Search → Toolbars and Customization

I have found a possible workaround for unfreezing the bar. Basically, after detaching a tab, the bar seems to start working again.
