User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:140.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/140.0
Steps to reproduce:
All of this happened after updating to Firefox 140. I opened the bookmarks side bar (the one under history tab and on top of the settings tab if you have vertical tabs like me), and it was empty except for the search bar. When typing in it I start seeing icons of some of the domains of the saved bookmarks (not all)
Actual results:
The bookmark sidebar was empty except for the search bar and a couple icons after typing
Expected results:
Usually it would list all my bookmarks and bookmark folders and it would also let me search for specific bookmarks and browse

Hi, can you share what theme you're using and if it's only affecting a specific theme?
Also, can you reproduce with a new profile? Are you overriding any styles with userChrome.css
or flip any prefs in about:config? Its the first time we've seen this issue.

Hi, can you share what theme you're using and if it's only affecting a specific theme?
Also, can you reproduce with a new profile? Are you overriding any styles with
userChrome.css
or flip any prefs in about:config? Its the first time we've seen this issue.
My theme is the following https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/animated-fox-crossing/.
It seems that it is a problem with the theme, on the other profile I tried with the plain white theme and the bookmark sidebar worked and it also worked normally when I changed to the white theme on my current profile in which I experienced the bug at first.
Additionally I noticed while changing the theme that the background images/thumbnails/previews of the themes in about:addons are missing for the user generated themes. Despite that with my other user-made themes the sidebar still works so it seems to be an issue of the specific theme I am using.
I do not have have a customized .css and I have the betterfox user.js on my profiles.
This is what I mean when I say the previews for the themes made by users do not appear (you can see at the top the theme which I am using and is having issues)
