Steps to reproduce:
Bookmarks in the sidebar on Linux have become unusable.
Check the attached screenshot.
Using Automatic website appearance in Settings, not using a dark theme.

Firefox 139 was not affected.
X11, XFCE, Greybird theme.
OS: Unspecified → Linux
Hardware: Unspecified → x86_64

Verified as unreproducible on Ubuntu24 using Firefox build 140.0.1(20250625213854) and themes Greybird Dark (GTK)/ Greybird.
