1974127 - Order of Copy Link to Highlight

🐞 Steps to Reproduce:

• Open Firefox Nightly 142+
• Go to about:config and set dom.text_fragments.create_text_fragment.enabled to true.
• Select some text on any webpage
• Right-click to bring up the context menu
• Observe the position of “Copy Link to Highlight” and related options in the menu

❌ Current Behavior:
“Copy Link to Highlight” and its variations appear above core actions like “Copy,” “Copy Link,” and “Select All.”
This isn't the best experience as it makes some commonly used menu items more hidden in the menu hierarchy. Those foundational actions are more frequently used and expected to appear first.

💡 Expected Behavior:
The CLTH options should always be bellow right bellow the copy and copy link items. Check Out the screenshot provided to see all the variations.
The intended order ensures that the highlight actions don’t overpower standard interaction patterns.

With the steps from comment 0 on an up-to-date nightly this seems to work for me. I think this was fixed in bug 1971353, but that's before 142 and comment 0 suggests it's not working in 142. Can you be more specific about how you're reproducing / what you're seeing instead of the desired behaviour? This screenshot (from today's nightly) seems to match the figma spec you attached.

Oh I think you are right it might have been fixed, I am also unable to reproduce now. It was as such last week and I can't seem to be able to reproduce again. I think then i will mark this as resolved.

Reproduced with Firefox 141.0a1 (2025-05-28) on macOS 15.
Verified as fixed with Firefox 146.0a1 (20251023094950) and Firefox 145.0b5 (20251022093404) on macOS 15, Win 10 and Ubuntu 22.
