User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:140.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/140.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Open the page https://github.com/tmux/tmux/blob/master/CHANGES.
- Press Ctrl+F to open the "Find on Page" dialog. Enable the Highlight All" option, and clear all others (Match case, match diacritics, whole words).
- Type the letter m into the find input.
- Type the letter o.
- Type the letter u.
(I wanted to find all occurrences of "mouse").
Actual results:
After step 5 (entering the letter u), all highlight marks on the scrollbar disappear. The find dialog itself correctly reports a non-zero number of matches (e.g., "77 matches found"), but their locations are not indicated on the scrollbar.
Expected results:
After step 5, the scrollbar should display marks corresponding to the locations of the "mou" string on the page. The number of visible marks should reflect the number of matches found.
