This occurs inconsistently, so I apologize if these steps don't reproduce the issue. I have to add one more step.
Steps to reproduce:
- Reinstall FireFox to remove any extensions and reset settings.
- In settings, turn on "Delete browsing data on quit". Turn on every option including "Cookies and site data".
- Open a Private Browsing tab.
- Connect to nexusmods.com.
- Login with an account.
6. Open a new Private Browsing tab, and Google search any query (e.g. "asdf"). - Exit private browsing using the "Quit" button.
- Immediately reopen FireFox.
- Open a new private tab.
- Connect to nexusmods.com.
- Check if your account is still logged in.
