User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 16; Mobile; rv:140.0) Gecko/140.0 Firefox/140.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Reinstall FireFox to remove any extensions and reset settings.
  2. In settings, turn on "Delete browsing data on quit". Turn on every option including "Cookies and site data".
  3. Open a Private Browsing tab.
  4. Connect to nexusmods.com.
  5. Login with an account.
  6. Exit private browsing using the "Quit" button.
  7. Immediately reopen FireFox.
  8. Open a new private tab.
  9. Connect to nexusmods.com.
  10. Check if your account is still logged in.

Actual results:

Despite ending the private browsing session, the account is still logged in.

Expected results:

The account should have been logged off.

This occurs inconsistently, so I apologize if these steps don't reproduce the issue. I have to add one more step.

  5. Login with an account.
    6. Open a new Private Browsing tab, and Google search any query (e.g. "asdf").
  6. Exit private browsing using the "Quit" button.
  7. Immediately reopen FireFox.
  8. Open a new private tab.
  9. Connect to nexusmods.com.
  10. Check if your account is still logged in.
