Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312

Prior to final version 1.3, everything worked fine. Now, whenever starting
multiple instances of mozilla, causes the Profile Manager to pop up, asking me
to select a profile (in that case, for example 'root') and it will not continue,
after selecting the existing profile, since that one is already in use.

This is a funny behaviourism, since instead of running the Profile Manager,
Mozilla should just open up a new window instead.

Why?

I'm calling mozilla by 'mozilla', with no arguments at all. This worked fine for
me since the beginning (1.0.x).

Hope this will be fixed asap =), as it always is, thanks guys for the great job!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Mozilla 1.3 (final), RedHat 8.0 Psyche
2. start first instance of Mozilla, e.g. /usr/lib/mozilla-1.3/mozilla
3. start second instance of Mozilla

Actual Results:
The Profile Manager will start and will refuse to open second Mozilla window,
since the profile is already in use by the already started instance of the
browser suite.

Expected Results:
Open up a new window, re-using the same profile and the "instance state" as well.
