User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Computer crashed in netscape 7.02...upon return no profiles were found. Installed Mozilla to see if profiles would be detected, nothing. Kept pointing program at profile, finally was recognized. All filters are intact but whenever incoming mail arrives the filter states the folder does not exist. Editing the filter does not help. Trying to make a new filter only results in a "duplicate filter" message. I hate to remove all filters and start new...looking for a fix. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. This issue did start in Netscape 7.02 but the lastest build of Mozilla is also not filtering correctly. I am assuming there is a corrupt data file but I do not know which it could be. What files should I look at?
*** Bug 197807 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
I resolved the problem only by removing all of the old content from my filter.dat file ...and starting over. After removing the content and reassigning the filters, there were no messages about folders being non-existent.
