User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; SunOS sun4u; en-US; rv:0.9.4.1) Gecko/20020406 Netscape6/6.2.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0 en; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 When uninstalling Palm Sync, it changes the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Softwae\U.S. Robotics\Pilot Desktop\Core\Path to c:\program files\mozilla.org\Mozilla This caused problem when the palm desktop is restarted as this is the default location of the palm profiles. It should not be changed and should point to c:\program files\palm (or wherever the palm desktop is installed) This is probably the root cause behind bug 196365 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.install palm desktop 2. add some data to the desktop as a particular user. 3. close palm desktop 3. install palm sync 4. uninstall palm sync. Actual Results: When starting palm desktop after uninstalling the sync tool, palm desktop askes for a new userID. Expected Results: Not have changd the registry, so when starting the palm desktop it knows the existing palm profile
