Overall there are a few items which require some skilled engineer to help out:

  • re-think the way we file bugs and submit patches while adjusting manifests to get tests running on a new platform
  • ensure that bug "paperwork" is proper when skipping high frequency failures
  • help make confirm-failures and test-verify a tier-1 solution
  • many papercuts and enhancements/cleanup to tools.
  • Refactor common code between taskgraph, treeherder, ./mach ..., mozinfo, etc.
  • Unify command line arguments between CI and mach, remove old cli options, move definitions out of mozharness and into taskgraph.

One item which could slightly change the planning here is what Mozilla decides on w.r.t landing manifest changes with only #intermittent-reviewers. This might be a subset of changes or when certain criteria are matched.
