This bug is a suggestion for adding a test on the "Translating ..." snackbar for TranslationsTest.

We've had bugs around the Translating ... snackbar appearing and not properly closing out (bug 1976032). So, extra coverage could be beneficial here.

The expected steps are:

  • Begin a translation, ideally one where the language model hasn't been downloaded for timing reasons
  • Quickly click outside of the translations bottom sheet while it is still running
  • A snackbar should appear with "Translating ..."
  • Snackbar should drop after translation completion
