Steps to reproduce:

On desktop, went to account > connect other device.

See attached video.

Actual results:

It asked me to go to "synchronise and save data" on Firefox Android, but that menu item doesn't appear to exist.

Additionally, icons were missing on Firefox desktop.

Expected results:

The menu item should have existed.

We've recently landed a new menu redesign. The instructions on Desktop need to be updated to match.

We recently landed a new menu design on Android and the copy on desktop needs to be updated.

In the meantime, where is the option to scan a QR code?

I have a fix in progress for this.

  • Tap on the settings item
  • Tap on the "sync and save data" item
  • Tap "Ready to scan"
