Preconditions
- Pref "browser.urlbar.trustPanel.featureGate" set to true.
Steps to reproduce
- Navigate to https://extended-validation.badssl.com/ or https://expired.badssl.com/.
- From URL bar, click on the unified shield icon.
Expected result
- Connection not secure is displayed in the ETP panel.
Actual result
- Connection secure is displayed in the ETP panel.
Regression range
- Not a regression, as this is a new implementation of the Unified Trust Panel feature.
Additional notes
- Marking this with the [fidefe-quality-foundation?] keyword, as the user may be misinformed about the security of the accessed page. As such, we consider this a high-impact bug for this feature.
- With the current UI (pref "browser.urlbar.trustPanel.featureGate" set to false) the " Connection not secure" is displayed inside the lock panel.
