Steps to reproduce

  1. Download the latest Nightly build (.msi install type)
  2. Install the latest Nightly build
  3. Check the Desktop

Expected result

  • A shortcut app (Firefox Nightly.exe) is installed on the Desktop, same as for .exe and stub installers.
  • Not sure if the above is the expected result, if not please close this bug.

Actual result

  • The Firefox Nightly.exe shortcut is not added to Desktop.

Regression range

  • Not a regression since this is something new that is introduced in the enhancement from bug 1968279
