Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 14; Mobile; rv:140.0) Gecko/140.0 Firefox/140.0

Steps to reproduce:

Started Firefox since Monday

Actual results:

I've read themes beyond light and dark weren't supported, but that didn't remove my theme until now. With that came a change in the homepage, where my commonly visited links went from icons to these much larger bars.

Expected results:

I want my purple night sky and small icon links back.
To quote Phillip J. Fry, "FIX IT! FIX IT! FIX IT! FIX IT!"
I've turned off my sponsored links and will consider this a browser swapping issue in the near future.
I will select enhancement, as I understand how QA works, but this is a usability bug. When it started up in light mode, I didn't think much of it...but NO THEMES!? That's... that's idiotic. I'm sorry, but I've been here for the long haul, and I mean the end of Seamonkey. Removing and overriding customizations is outside of the scope of what the community actually expects.
If not fixed by the equinox, I will likely switch browsers.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox for Android::Homepage' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hello himarc! Sorry for the delayed reply; this slipped through triage. First: this is a public bug tracker and real humans read these bug reports. Yelling and calling names is not acceptable; if you continue to act in this manner, you'll be blocked. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/page.cgi?id=etiquette.html for our expectations.

Second: you've filed a ticket without sufficient information to help us solve whatever problem you're experiencing. Screenshots and detailed explanations of what you're seeing and what you expect would go a long way to help us help you.

Third: you've filed this ticket as a problem with Firefox for Android. Is that correct? There are themes in Firefox for Android -- normal, private, custom tabs -- but I don't think there were ever user-configurable themes that you might "remove" in the sense you describe. That sounds more like a Firefox for Desktop issue, but if you provide more details, we can determine this.
