User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:142.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/142.0
Steps to reproduce:
am not sure, but with multiple tab groups open (one the rest collapsed) i closed one of two open tabs that were not in a group
okay update to that i just clicked on a specific other tab (i think the one to the immediate left?) and it just resolved itself??? still very strange behavior though
Actual results:
tabs were overlapping, there seems to be a space in the tab bar that acts as if there is a tab there when there is not, the new tab button does not show correctly, and i cannot click anything on the horizontal area of where the website name is (i cant remember the name of the whole part, but same bar where the back/forward page buttons are, where extensions are, etc)
Expected results:
the tab should close and not have a stroke </3

That's really frustrating. Thank you very much for the report!
Since the toolbar is unresponsive, I'm going to relate this to bug 1984342.

This should have been resolved with Firefox 142.0.1, which released on Wednesday, August 27. If you still see this issue in Firefox 142.0.1 or later, please feel free to reopen this bug or file a new one.
