RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1982129

People

(Reporter: victorpan2017, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:142.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/142.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable vertical tabs.
  2. Enable "Expand sidebar on hover" setting.
  3. Hover over sidebar
  4. Open ANY context menu
  5. Sidebar is now stuck

Actual results:

Sidebar remains stuck in either expanded or collapsed view, regardless of mouse hover.

Manually resetting "Expand sidebar on hover" resolves this issue

Expected results:

Sidebar should collapse/expand on mouse hover.

The issue did not happen on firefox on windows. Only on Linux

Same question as bug 1985606: can you reproduce this on 142.0.1? This version fixes a problem with sidebar expansion on hover.

Hi Francesco,

I updated to the latest patch. This seems to have fixed the issue with the sidebar not opening/closing properly.
