Steps to reproduce:

• I create 3 tab groups, each group has 3 tab tabs inside. I created an external tab tab and then dragged into any group of any tab, namely the tab group in the middle will see the error more clearly, that is, when pulling the separate tab into the tab group and immediately pull the separate tab out of the tab group and click the group to close the tab group, the group of that tab will still display and see as the newly pulled tab tab is the tab operating in that tab group and display the number of tabs in that tab. dynamic.
• I used a separate CSS for my interface, but I checked with a new Profiles that still had a fault!
• I use MacOS Sequoia 15.6 and Firefox 142.0.1 Latest

Actual results:

The interface is wrong, making the experience uncomfortable and the display area due to the fact that no tab is operating in that tab group and still displays ina meaninglessness! Only when clicking to the new tab will the error disappear!

Expected results:

While pulling the tab out of the tab group and then clicking the tab group, it must be collapsed immediately rather than display the count of the number of tab + considers the tab tab that pulled out as the active tab.

This should be resolved by bug 1971382 which is available in Firefox 143 (scheduled release date September 16, 2025).
