User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030320 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.4a) Gecko/20030320 According to Mozilla help: "If any Mozilla application is running, then Quick Launch does not need to be enabled in order to display the new message alert. For information on using Quick Launch, see Using Quick Launch. Once Mozilla Mail has been started, the new message alert will continue to work even after you close the Mail window (as long as another Mozilla application is running)." This is not the case. I set my "check every" to 1 minute. I left the mail window open, and sure enough, it checked and downloaded the message just fine. I sent another message to myself, but this time closed the mail window but left my browser window open. Nothing happened after 3 minutes. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set "check every X mins" to 1 minute 2. Send self an e-mail 3. Close mail window, leave browser open 4. Wait a couple minutes Actual Results: Nothing happens Expected Results: Mail notification should've occurred, according to the Mozilla help
