User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:142.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/142.0
Steps to reproduce:
Enable Vertical tabs, enable expand sidebar on hover, hover over the sidebar to expand it
Actual results:
The vertical side bar does not hide when not hovering. It does not respond at all to hover events after this state
Expected results:
The app bar would hide, and expand again when hovered over again

I should have enabled my pointer showing in the video, but my actions were:
- hover over vertical sidebar
- remove pointer from vertical sidebar (this should hide the sidebar)
- disable and re-enable the expand sidebar on hover
- hover over the vertical sidebar
- remove pointer from vertical sidebar

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Sidebar' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hi, can you reproduce this on 142.0.1? This version fixes a problem with sidebar expansion on hover.

Hi, it seems to be fixed in 142.0.1. I will update this ticket later if I manage to recreate it, but at this point I no longer can

Marking this as fixed. Please re-open if you are able to reproduce again. It would be interesting to know if this ever reproduces in the same way on the left side.
:jsudiaman if you know which bug fixed this can you link it here?
