User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312 Occasionally in Mozilla 1.2.1 and now consistently with 1.3.0, when I open a mail message a new window is opened which is normal, but no message text is visible. The only way to read the message is to use print preview. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Double-click on message. 2. 3. Actual Results: New window for message opens, but no text is visible. Expected Results: New window for message open and message text visible in window.
why do you double-click it? Doesn't it display in the message-pane of the main mailnews window when you single-click?
Reporter mailed: ---- I don't have the message pane open. I use the left pane for showing folders and the right pane as a single pane to show the messages. If I do show the right pane as split between the message list and the message text, the message text does show up. I can do that for now. However, I have to use the right menu click to reply to your message when I am used to double-clicking the message and replying from it in a full window. Since I have this alternate method, the priority can be reduced from major to normal. David
Severity: major → normal
