User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030312

Bookmarks added without using the bookmark manager but by dragging them into the
bookmarks tab or pressing ctrl-d are saved only when exiting mozilla (or opening
the bookmark manager). You can add a bookmark and then surf for many hours
without the bookmarks actually being written to harddisk. Any abnormal program
termination will cause the bookmarks to be lost. A mozilla crash, a system
crash, a broken network connection when the mozilla profile is stored on a
network drive, power loss; all causes the loss of the new bookmarks.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. add a boorkmark (!without using the boorkmark manager) by pressing ctrl-d or
drag the url into the bookmarks folder
2. crash mozilla / reboot computer
3.

Actual Results:
the added boorkmarks aren't saved to disk. Existing bookmarks are undamaged, but
the new ones are lost.

Expected Results:
After adding a bookmark, directly save the bookmarks.html file

hmm.. sorry for the duplicate. I've been searching for over an hour but hadn't
found it. Seeing how many duplicates there are I'm not the only one...
Maybe the search should be improved ;)
