User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030317
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030317
If I go to:
http://www.gazeta.ru/
and click on the page linking to:
http://www.gazeta.ru/sport/2003/03/kz_18598.shtml?kz18598
mozilla crashes immediately. Under Konqueror, the page displays
using KHTML, but shows nothing if I switch to KMOZILLA (there
is no crash, however). This may be a font problem: when using
KHTML the fonts on http://www.gazeta.ru/ look fine, but those
on http://www.gazeta.ru/sport/2003/03/kz_18598.shtml?kz18598
are gibberish.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://www.gazeta.ru/
2. Click on the image of the pretty girl which takes you to:
http://www.gazeta.ru/sport/2003/03/kz_18598.shtml?kz18598
Actual Results:
Mozilla crashes
Expected Results:
What Konqueror under KHTML did: display the page (but
with the right fonts, if possible).
I was using the Modern theme, Java/JavaScript, external images,
disabled. Cookies only from originating site. Overall very conservative
settings.

can you post Talkback ID for this crash "mozilla/bin/components/talkback/talkback" ?
What version of Flash plug-in do you run ? If using v.5.x, do you crash after
upgrading to Flash 6.0r79 ?

If you use a Gtk2/Xft enabled build, please do add that info in bugs.

How would I do that? I downloaded the source RPM for 7.3, compiled
it, and installed the binary RPM. The command I used was:
rpm --rebuild mozilla-1.3-0_rh7.src.rpm
Is there a verbose mode I can switch on? Some command-line option?
If the src RPM doesn't have Talkback enabled by default I'll
have to recompile it tomorrow (but I'd rather not :)
If it helps any:
I'm running gcc-2.96-113
glibc-2.2.5-43
I'm not using any version of Flash whatsoever, nor any other
plugin. As I said, Java(script) is also disabled.
Here's a script file of a gdb session:

I hope this helps...
