Steps to reproduce:

Open SeaMonkey Composer on Windows 10.

Go to Edit → Preferences → Composer → Saving / Publishing.

Enable “Preserve original source formatting”.

Open a clean HTML file (e.g., test.html).

Edit a line in either WYSIWYG or Source view.

Save the file.

Reopen in Composer or in Notepad++ and notice extra blank lines added between every line of HTML.

Actual results:

Actual result: Composer inserts extra blank lines on every save when “Preserve original source formatting” is enabled.

Expected results:

Expected result: The file preserves the original formatting without inserting extra blank lines.
