Firefox version: Firefox 143.0

Steps to reproduce:

1. Navigate to: https://lilyonthevalley.com/chapter/prt-chapter-5-12/
2. Request "Reader mode" and observe

Expected Behavior:
Reader mode is kept

Actual Behavior:
The page reverts back to normal mode

Notes:

• Reproduces regardless of the status of ETP
• Reproduces in firefox-nightly, and firefox-release
• Does not reproduce in chrome

I'm not seeing this bug in Firefox for Desktop, so I suspect this is more to do with how Firefox for Android is embedding reader mode.

Hey Polly, is this the right component for this bug, or is there a better one under the Firefox for Android product?

thanks, have reallocated - i think reader mode falls under web extensions.
fyi weirdly i was able to reproduce this issue in release and nightly build but it works ok for me in the debug build
