Tested platforms

  • Affected platforms: Windows 10x64
  • Unaffected platforms: Ubuntu, macOS

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open WhatsApp page and right after the page is loaded refresh the page from the browser button or load Facebook page and login.

Expected result

  • No errors.

Actual result

  • Sorry, Something went wrong error.

Regression range

  • I don’t think this is a Firefox regression since I can repro this issue with Firefox 140.0. Please let me know if I should try older builds.

Additional notes

  • Attached a screen recording.
  • Network profiler: https://share.firefox.dev/3IDIuRu
  • This only happens if Avast shields are ON. If I disable Avast, I am not able to reproduce the issue anymore.
  • Avast Premium Security 25.9.10453a (build 25.9.10453.762) is used.
Severity: -- → S3

I've contacted Avast about this issue.
