CHROME/SAFARI RESULTS:
The first table is shorter (~50px tall), and its cyan-background child overflows equally off the top and bottom.
FIREFOX RESULTS:
Both tables are the same size.
NOTES:
Both tables have a <td> with height:50px which contains a div with a height of 100px.
But in the first table, the div's height is expressed as height:200% (resolved against the 50px cell height), and that prevents the cell from growing to fit that child.
