User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:143.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/143.0
Steps to reproduce:
The only way that I can reproduce this involves some steps on an actual website, so I've attached a video showing those. The page in the video is https://battle.crossuniverse.net/settings/
Saving and re-opening the page in the broken state does not replicate the issue, so something about the steps to get there is important.
Since it's quite quick to do and 100% reliable, I've also used mozregression to track it back to https://hg-edge.mozilla.org/integration/autoland/pushloghtml?fromchange=d765404a14b81fe15bb6bf8168fcad4fcaf58f5a&tochange=d357e4d1b535964c8ebfbc28c3ea8b060dbace07
Out of the commits there, only https://hg-edge.mozilla.org/integration/autoland/rev/8928a2ee7ce83dfc9d0f56c803e5b7c67af40c11 looks like it might be the culprit.
Actual results:
As seen in the video, whenever the main area is hovered, certain parts get darker and specific sections of a backdrop-filter blur stop applying.
Expected results:
The page should not change when hovering the area in question.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Graphics: WebRender' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

:emilio, since you are the author of the regressor, bug 1972694, could you take a look? Also, could you set the severity field?

Since it varies based on the DPI and without style changes (e.g., I can't reproduce on a smaller window) I think there's something on the WR side... An invalidation bug or so? Glenn can you take a look?

I won't have a chance to look at it for some time, but I'll put it on my list to take a look when I can.
