User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Android 15; Mobile; rv:145.0) Gecko/145.0 Firefox/145.0

Steps to reproduce:

The current limit of 16 shortcuts, 8 per view is very less when user can have entire screen for shortcuts if other items are disabled (bookmarks, recently visited etc), besides the desktop version has the option to specify number of rows so why not Android too?

I suggest max 20 top sites per view and maximum 5 views...if these can be synced like bookmarks , it will be really really beneficial

+1, but for a different reason.

Previously, although only 8 shortcuts were displayed, you could easily swipe to see another 8. The latest version (144b8) has removed the ability to swipe, so you can only see the initial 8. To see more, you have to tap the inconvenient "View All" button and then make a significant finger movement to the shortcut you need.

I hope to retain the ability to swipe to see another page of shortcuts while keeping the "View All" button. This is analogous to a CPU's L1/L2 cache and main memory; having more memory is certainly not a bad thing, but it would be very frustrating to lose the L2 cache in the process.

It would be even better if the number of swipable pages could be customized (though I personally feel that 2 pages is a perfect balance of complexity and quantity, not everyone might agree).

Attaching screenshot from iceraven a firefox fork which has the ability to pin any number of shortcuts in homepage..while mozilla is known for customization, it is not true for the Android!
